Original Penguin partners with NuORDER for B2B eCommerce

Original Penguin Customer Success Story

We can now show multiple seasons at the same time
and have experienced a 35% increase in confirmed, onsite orders.
Each rep is seeing at least ten accounts per selling day
(could only see six accounts per selling day before NuORDER)”

About the company

Original Penguin began in 1955 with the production of an iconic golf shirt that was inspired by a fun night on the town, a stuffed penguin, and a few whiskeys. Since then, the brand has come to represent classic Americana with a full range of apparel, accessories and shoes.

Problem: Inefficient tradeshow process Before NuORDER, Original Penguin reports printing out multiple linesheets for each season and writing down the desired styles and sizes. Post-show order entry took a combined time of six hours.
Solution: Utilizing NuORDER for a better tradeshow experience “We’ve vastly increased our process efficiency with NuORDER. We can now show multiple seasons at the same time and have experienced a 35% increase in confirmed, onsite orders. Each rep is seeing at least ten accounts per selling day” (could only see six accounts per selling day before NuORDER). “We also have time to eat lunch now!”

Problem: Reorder rate not as high as it should be
Solution: Using NuORDER to streamline the reorder process “I’d say 90% of our accounts know and love using NuORDER and 25% of our accounts have upped their reorders. The EZ Order feature has helped our reps increase reorders, and buyers are even logging in and creating reorders proactively. We also have decreased their order turnaround time by at least a week.”

Problem: Too many order errors due to manual entry
Solution: Going digital with NuORDER “In just a short period of time, we’ve already tracked a 25% decrease in order errors.”

Problem: High print costs Original Penguin was printing at least 1,000 linesheets/catalogs per year for tradeshows alone.
Solution: Moving to paperless with NuORDER With their linesheets/catalogs being digital, they are now only bringing ten of each season to tradeshows.
